Children & families

For kids of every ability, and for the parents, grandparents and caregivers who love them. Big animals, small victories, and a lot of joy.

Who it helps

We welcome children with cognitive, physical, intellectual, learning and social-emotional differences, including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, anxiety, sensory processing differences and developmental delays, and kids who are simply going through a hard time.

No diagnosis is required. If your child might benefit, that’s enough to start a conversation.

Families are part of it

Parents and caregivers are always welcome to watch, and siblings sometimes join in. Many families tell us that the barn becomes a shared, happy place, somewhere their child is seen for what they can do.

We’ll keep you in the loop about goals and progress, and we’re glad to coordinate with your child’s teachers or therapists.

Bring your child to meet the herd

The first visit is gentle and pressure-free. Watching the horses is a perfectly good start.
